\u00a0There are two modalities to join YAMI:<\/span><\/p>

2. Identity Provider (IdP): This is an institution that hosts the end users of the Federation. These users are affiliated with the institution, such as students, professors, researchers, staff, etc. Therefore, an IdP provides user identity services, meaning it validates or authenticates these users.<\/p>

2. Service Provider (SP): This is an institution that offers its services via the web, such as publishers or academic institutions providing services like online courses, academic databases, etc. For a user to access these resources, the SP must receive the user\u2019s information from their IdP.<\/p>

Procedure<\/strong><\/div>
To join the community, download the form, complete it, and send it to the email address: yami@conare.ac.cr. Once the information has been validated, the YAMI team will contact you to proceed with the implementation process.<\/div>
